The Study Abroad Fair will give you the opportunity to:
- Talk to members of the Essex Abroad Team about a year/term abroad
- Meet returning students who studied abroad in 2023 - 2024 to ask them about their experiences as an exchange student
- Spend time with our Incoming Exchange Students, discussing their home institution
- Ask Jasini, our YUFE Essex Abroad Adviser, any questions you may have about the opportunities YUFE can offer you, including virtual and in person study at our YUFE partners in Europe
- Find out more about our Short Term Programmes, including:
- Volunteering abroad opportunities
- Internships abroad
- International Summer Schools
- Discuss programmes with our partner providers.
- Discuss wider information and support available
Our international experiences can offer you a world of opportunities, with the chance to immerse yourself in another culture, develop your independence and step outside your comfort zone, giving you an enormous advantage when you enter the global job market.
If you are interested in internationalisation and having an abroad experience during your time at Essex, then the Study Abroad Fair is a key event. Suitable for all students, of all levels and disciplines, it is an excellent chance to immerse yourself in the international opportunities available to you as an Essex student.
Throughout the week we will also be running a series of remote sessions with our partners, featuring information on specific summer internship and summer school opportunities.
