Beltane is the turning of the wheel when spring reaches its peak and life begins to bloom in full expression. It is a season of fire, passion, connection, and creation. Where Imbolc asks us to tend what is just beginning, Beltane invites us to step into what is alive, to celebrate it, and to allow it to be seen.
This is a threshold moment. A crossing into embodiment.
For those in recovery, Beltane reflects the stage where healing is no longer just beneath the surface. It is felt. It is expressed. It asks us to step into relationship with ourselves in a new way, to meet ourselves with love, and to honor the parts of us that are ready to live more fully.
At this month’s Awakening Hope ritual, we will gather in sacred circle to honor Beltane as a time of love, connection, and embodied healing. Together we will:
• Learn about the history of Beltane and the magick of this fire festival
• Reflect on the ways we are learning to love ourselves in recovery
• Explore where love has been withheld and where it is ready to grow
• Participate in a communal Maypole ritual, symbolizing connection, life force, and the weaving of our individual journeys
• (Weather permitting) light the first ceremonial fire of the year as a symbol of activation and renewal• Share sacred space in community, honoring recovery as a spiritual path
You are welcome whether you have attended ritual many times or never before. No prior experience is needed, only a willingness to show up with an open heart.
This is a free community ritual for anyone seeking recovery, supporting someone who is, or wanting a spiritually aligned place to reconnect with themselves and the rhythms of the Earth. Bring your journal if you wish, bring your presence, and join us as we weave magick, recovery, and love during this sacred Beltane gathering.
