Lecture Theme: Mangroves, Hurricanes, and Resilience: Mangroves are vital to Florida’s future. These amazing forests are the economic foundation in coastal regions in the tropics and are necessary to maintain quality of life for man and nature, yet their future is uncertain both here in Collier County, Florida, and worldwide. The speaker for this event will be Conservancy's Acting Director of Environmental Science, Kathy Worley.
