Entry to Wycombe Wanderers Women's 2pm clash against AFC Portchester on Sunday 15th March is now free!Thanks to sponsorship from Karen Adams, Peter Lerner, Ian Keizner and Badgers Auctions - Wycombe Wanderers Foundation have announced that the Chairgirls' league clash against Portchester will be free entry for all.
The fixture at Adams Park acts as part two of the Her Game Too double header weekend. Whilst the Chairboys kick it off against Luton Town on Saturday, the top-of-the-table Chairgirls will be looking to impress once again in front of a home crowd in HP12 on Sunday.
Mark Gaitskell, Wycombe Wanderers Foundation Chief Executive, commented; "It's a big few weeks for us as the season heads towards an exciting climax, with our goal now in touching distance.
"Some tough games remain and no one is going to gift us promotion, so it's great to try to take a big step forwards at Adams Park in what is a huge game - and on our Her Game Too and Mother's Day weekend, feels very fitting.
"Huge thank you to our generous sponsors who've enabled us to make this fixture free for all to attend, we hope to see plenty of supporters in attendance ready to back the girls."
Last time the Wanderers Women took to the Adams Park pitch, it was an awe-inspiring Adobe FA Cup comeback against Tier Four side, Chesham United, who pinned the Chairgirls back by two goals to nil at the halfway point of the match. A dramatic turnaround in the second half, thanks to a brace from Chloe Melton, as well as additions from Jess Watkins and Kayla Potter, secured the victory for Wycombe in front of a crowd of 250.
It's set to be a thrilling weekend all round for the Wanderers, so make sure you get behind the Chairboys and Chairgirls and bring the noise!
