Sivananda yoga balances our minds, bodies, chakras, and emotions with a focused yet relaxed container. This practice is dedicated to experiencing satchitananda: truth-consciousness-bliss absolute. We laugh together, breathe together, and find inner awareness together, while stretching and strengthening our body-minds.

Please arrive 5 minutes early to tell me about any personal needs you have, and sign a waiver. We'll do pranayama 15 minutes, asana for 45 minutes, and end with a 15 minute prompted meditation (nidra).
I support all body shapes and needs with options (beginner & intermediate "levels" ). Bring a mat, water bottle, and whatever you need to be comfortable.
I teach in the lineage of Sivananda (www.sivananda.org). You don't need any props, but you're welcome to bring some if you like.
April-October we practice yoga on the grass: Opening arms to the open sky, for a yoga of interbeing. Breathing in prana that was just exhaled by the shimmering cottonwoods. Planting feet in mountain pose on the actual ground. All next to the glittering Kaw river.
