About this Event
In this workshop, we will teach our participants about Microsoft PowerPoint, which is designed to create visual slideshow presentations. Residents will navigate its features, basic tools, and how and when to use these tools.
Learning Objectives:
- Introduce powerpoint to create a basic presentation. Understand the presentation area (Ribbon, Slide Navigation Pane, Slide Area, Notes Section, Quick Access Toolbar)
- Creating and formatting slides, hands on practice on adding new slides and formatting text, inserting images, videos, and shapes.
- Applying themes, transitions, and animations: Themes offer a professional, consistent look. Transitions control slide flow, while animations highlight elements. Use them judiciously to improve understanding, not distract.
- Saving and presenting tips, instructions on how to save a document and prepare/deliver presentations using Slideshow View, Presenter View, and Mirror Display
