About this Event
This introductory workshop covers Microsoft Excel fundamentals, including data definition, organization, navigation, and basic tool usage (cells, rows, columns, worksheets). Participants will learn to construct and format data tables with best practices for entry and presentation, gaining foundational skills for working with data in Excel.
Learning Objectives:
- Access Microsoft Excel, identify and understand the Excel interface and workbook structure (multiple worksheets within a file). A key focus is efficient worksheet navigation (moving through cells, rows, and columns) to interact with data
- Understand Data: Hands-on experience creating a data table using automatic and Flash Fill for automatic data entry.
- How to save an excel file to find and share/edit later.
