Free Digital Skills Class:Introduction to Google Docs| South Dallas

This workshop is designed to teach participants about Google Docs and its advantages in creating free documents like resumes, school documents or personal writings . The primary purpose is to equip participants with the skills to use Google Docs to enhance their work, professional, and personal lives.

Learning Objectives: 

1. Introduction to Google Docs: Its benefits, and how it can simplify tasks like creating resumes, school documents, or personal writings. Demonstrating how to find Google Docs through Google Chrome and the Google Apps menu.
2. Docs Navigation: Familiarizing participants with the layout of the Google Docs page (blank document, template gallery, search bar, recent documents). Key Features: Explaining the "ribbon bar" for formatting and styling documents (font, size, undo/redo, inserting images).
3. Creating your own document, getting to work on a document to put the docs navigation in place by adding images and links. 
4. Sharing and opening a shared document.
