Did you know? Diabetes self-management classes can help you learn how to control diabetes!
This Diabetes 101 workshop will provide an overview of the following topics:
- Understanding diabetes
- Managing blood sugar
- Understanding insulin and Medic*tion
- Lifestyle choices to manage diabetes effectively
Participants are highly encouraged to use their new knowledge from the workshop at our Farmer's Market after class! The Campaign Against Hunger will be outside our Bedford Office with their Fresh Vibes Truck filled with fresh fruits and veggies for community members to purchase, using vouchers, SNAP benefits, cash, etc.
