Join us at Skyline Wilderness Park in the Social Hall for the Spring Season of Worm and Backyard Composting Workshops!
Learn to reduce and eliminate yard trimmings and turn them into wonderfully rich compost for your garden! Discover the basics of backyard composting, composting with worms and grass cycling. Become familiar with tools, types of bins and the ins and outs of recycling yard trimmings, garden waste, and even some food scraps.
When: Saturday, April 25th from 10:00am - 12:00pm
After completing the workshop, you may purchase a discounted backyard compost bin for $20 (an $80 value.) Limit one bin per household. At the conclusion of the backyard composting portion of the workshop, you can stay for additional information on worm composting! If you stay for the worm composting portion, for $10 you will receive a worm compost tool kit, including the worms that you will set-up with the UC Master Gardeners to take home!
Must be Napa County resident and complete workshop to purchase discounted compost bin or worm composting toolkit. Pre-registration is REQUIRED and space is limited, RSVP today to reserve your spot.
There is no park entrance fee to attend the workshop, and afterwards you may stay to visit the Martha Walker Native Habitat Garden or enjoy the great outdoors!

Parking Instructions
After stopping to speak with a gate attendant at the Front Kiosk, follow the Master Gardener Workshop signs to the Social Hall. Parking is located beside the Social Hall building and across from the gardens.
