This is first and foremost a free community event to end the summer off with. Secondly, it's the first real kick-off opportunity to meet'n'greet with Cabell & Wayne County's State Senate Elect Melissa Clark (aka, me)! :D
I wanted to give the community a reason to come together before the weather cools and hopefully even create a community vision board! There will be some community discussion and I have an overall campaign donation goal of 5,000. So far, I have nearly funded my whole campaign with the help of my biggest supporters: my family! Additional kudos to my endorsement WV Can't Wait who has been made this an extraordinary experience.
Hotdog concessions are available, and I am open to food trucks who want to park up for the day (DM me!). We'll have live music, tons of kids activities (and there's a park), I'll share a conceptual performance piece that I've shared in NYC, plus some.
Think of this as a family BBQ perhaps. No alcohol or drugs, please. (sorry, park service property)
