This free community art event will run over three days, bringing people together through creativity, remembrance, and hope. The exhibition will feature photography, paintings, glass, ceramics, sculpture, and collage pieces, all donated by local and international artists so they can be sold to raise funds for a cause that matters deeply to our community.Across the event there will be simple, welcoming refreshments homemade cakes, teas, coffee, and soft drink, so people can take their time, connect with others, and experience the space in a calm and supportive way. There will also be raffle prizes and sealed-bid items, offering further opportunities to give, while taking home something special.
The Kent Speak Their Name memorial quilt will be part of the event. It is a powerful reminder of the lives behind the statistics, and of the importance of getting support right, early, and consistently, especially for Autistic young people who too often face barriers, misunderstanding, and isolation.
Every artwork sold can translate into therapeutic support for an Autistic young person in Thanet—support that helps them feel safer, understood, and less alone. Each contribution helps reduce isolation and loneliness, creating more opportunities for connection, confidence, and hope. All money raised over the three days will go directly towards lifesaving mental health support for Autistic young people in Thanet.
