The day each year when we give away thousands of free comics is happening on Saturday May 2nd. The comic distributors have each coined their own name for the event so we mashed them up into one epic day. Joining us is AMP Comics with a FCBD edition of The Greatest American Hero comic. He’s back. The bumbling superhero from the hit ‘80s TV show returns to reconnect with his son—who only knows him as the “crazy man in red pajamas.” Seven days. One suit. A final sacrifice. In person will be the actor of the classic show WILLIAM KATT, writer and CEO of AMP Comics DON HANDFIELD and dynamic cover artist DAVID MACK signing from 11AM to 1PM. One free autograph and comic per person while supplies last. *Signatures on any other items may be subject to a fee set by talent.
From 11AM to 4PM we are also having creator and writer DAVID M. BOOHER (Canto, Ghostbusters, etc.) signing Comics Giveaway Day edition of Avatar: The Last Airbender from Dark Horse Comics. One free comic and autograph per person while supplies last.
Also, we will have a sidewalk sale to raise awareness and operating funds for Golden Apple Comic and Art Foundation. 1000’s of donated comic books on sale for only $1 each!!
