From Summit to System: How Athletes Become Advocates Caroline Gleich is a professional ski mountaineer, endurance athlete, TEDx speaker, and former U.S. Senate candidate from Utah who blends elite adventure with bold advocacy for climate, democracy, and social justice. She has climbed and skied hundreds of peaks worldwide, including Everest, Cho Oyu, and Antarctica’s Mt. Vinson, and is the first woman to ski all 90 lines in The Chuting Gallery.
A frequent congressional witness on climate and public lands, Caroline works with national and grassroots organizations to mobilize communities and protect the places we love. Through film, writing, and a global social media following, she challenges audiences to see leadership as an active, everyday practice—rooted in courage, compassion, and action.
