🥾Want to get out and hike but don’t want to drive too far? 🥾Join us for a free class all about hiking in Berrien County! Each participant will leave with a packet of information about our local hikes and preserves. We’ll be joined by a representative from Chikaming Open Lands.
Chikaming Open Lands is a local land conservancy dedicated to preserving the open spaces and natural rural character of southwest Berrien County.
They protect and restore native plant and animal habitat in the area, improve water quality in our rivers, streams and in Lake Michigan, and permanently preserve ecologically significant forests, prairies and wetlands, as well as prime farmland and other open spaces in this community.
