🕊️ Backyard Bird Care & Beginner BirdingLearn how to keep your backyard birds healthy with tips on feeder cleaning, disease prevention, and responsible birding practices.
🐦 Curious about the birds in your backyard? Join us this month to begin your birding journey while learning how to keep your feathered visitors safe and healthy.
We’ll learn:
• 🥜 What birds you can expect this time of year and their preferred foods
• 🩺 How to identify common diseases that may spread at feeders
• 🧽 How often to clean feeders and what to use
• 🫧 Best practices for deep-cleaning feeders through an in-person demonstration
🌿 We’ll end with a short walk along the Arkansas River to see what species we can spot. We will have some binoculars available to borrow, but feel free to bring your own if you have them.
Whether you’re new to birding or simply want to be a more responsible host to your local wildlife, this workshop will give you the tools to support a healthy backyard bird community.
