About This Event:
Ease into your week with a relaxing chair yoga class. We'll start with breathing and meditation to quiet the mind, then move through each major muscle group gently stretching and relaxing each area, with extra attention given to the back and neck. Class will focus on slow movements and longer holds to help support relaxation and healing, and may include standing poses using a chair for support.
About Your Instructor:
Rose Bak is an RYT 200-hour and Curvy Yoga certified teacher who teaches yoga for people who think they can’t do yoga because they don’t have a “yoga body” or have physical challenges. Rose believes that every body is unique and her body positive classes are designed to meet every student where they are today. Her passions include teaching those in larger bodies, people who are aging, beginners, and people in chronic pain including those suffering from scoliosis.
