FREE Candle Light Yoga Session - At Torrance Sports Center

This FREE Yin yoga class is a meditative style of yoga that involves holding passive poses for extended periods of time to target the body's connective tissues. The poses are usually held on the floor and focus on the lower body, particularly the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, and lower spine. Yin yoga classes often use props like bolsters, blankets, and bricks to help students relax into the poses. The class starts with a calming sound bath and ends with a 10-minute full sound bath while students are in their final resting pose: Shavasana.

Sabrina Mance-Weinstein is an Emmy Award winning Producer who began practicing yoga in 2008 to balance her hectic life, and to find a holistic approach to heal chronic back pain from a surf injury. Yoga not only helped her regain her range of motion & mobility after an invasive spinal fusion, it also sparked a desire to deepen her practice & share yoga with others. She now teaches regularly at Hot 8 and the USAFB in El Segundo.

Certifications: 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certification, 30-hour Yoga Nidra Yoga Alliance Certification, 60-hour Yin Certification.
