BLACK UHURU
Formed in Kingston, Jamaica over 50 years ago, Black Uhuru has become one of the most celebrated and enduring reggae bands in the world, winning the first-ever Grammy Award for reggae music and achieving record sales second only to Bob Marley in the genre. Their classic sound—built on thundering drum and bass, sharp keys, and soaring harmonies — was forged in collaboration with the legendary rhythm section of Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare, and has made them true ambassadors of reggae worldwide.
We are endlessly grateful to all our sponsors who make these events possible!
THANKS TO THEIR SUPPORT, WE'RE HOSTING 50+ FREE EVENTS THIS SUMMER.
