Learn the fundamentals of parkour from experienced, friendly parkour coaches! The beginners' class held on the second Saturday of each month at 12 pm and is geared towards first timers. The class lasts 1.5 hours, and focuses on controlled progression. The September beginners' class will focus on two themes: (1) the basics of jumping and landing and (2) flow. You will learn the fundamentals of jumping and landing efficiently and safely. You'll learn how to fluidly continue your momentum as you move over/under/through your environment.
All fitness levels are welcome. No previous parkour experience is expected. We will be jumping, landing, and supporting some of our bodyweight on our hands.
Participants under 18 must have parental permission.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in, a good pair of athletic shoes, and we highly recommend bringing water.
