Join us in Berkeley at the Wat Mongkolratanaram Temple on Sept. 13 for art sharing and conversations with local traditional artists.
About this Event

Join us at the Wat Mongkolratanaram Thai Buddhist Temple in Berkeley on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 1 - 4 pm for art sharing and conversations with local traditional artists from ACTA’s Apprenticeship and Living Cultures programs, including Thai traditional music and dance with the Thai Cultural Council, Senegalese drumming with Madiou Diouf, Afro Puerto Rican bomba with Julia Cepeda, and African American traditional foodways with Maurice Wilkins.

Participants will also learn how to apply for ACTA’s 2025 Apprenticeship Program, with a Q&A to follow.

This event will be bilingual in English and Spanish. Refreshments will be served.
