BAILE NUEVOMEXICANO WITH LONE PIÑON, TÍOS MÍOS, AND LUCY SALAZAR
¡A Bailar! Join us for a traditional Northern New Mexico dance party with Lone Piñon, Tíos Míos, and dances led by Lucy Salazar.
Lone Piñon is a New Mexican string band, or “orquesta típica”, whose music celebrates the integrity and diversity of their region's cultural roots. With fiddles, upright bass, guitars, accordions, vihuela, and bilingual vocals, they play a wide spectrum of the traditional music that is at home in New Mexico.
Tíos Míos (Kateri Lopez and Rosie Hutchinson) perform Sones del Rio and Southwest fiddle tunes. Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, they learned this traditional music from their musical and familial tíos.

Starting June 1, a late-night southbound train departs the Santa Fe Depot Station at 10:05 pm during all Summer Scene Railyard concerts and makes every stop between Santa Fe and Downtown Albuquerque.
