Zempel will give two short gallery presentations at 6:00 and 7:00 pm on how ledger art asserts Native presence, memory, and self-representation.
‣ See Castaway: The Afterlife of Plastic, before it closes April 5—a striking mix of photography and beach debris that confronts our deep entanglement with plastic.
‣ Explore award-winning middle and high school student art from the global Bow Seat Ocean Awareness Contest, spotlighting plastic pollution and climate change.
‣ Join Harvard student-led highlight tours of the Peabody Museum from 5:30–8:30 pm.
‣ Sip on a selection of beverages for purchase (21+ with valid government ID for alcohol).
‣ Enter a free raffle for museum gifts and a museum membership.
‣ Visit the Harvard Museum of Natural History, also open 5:00–9:00 pm (access on third floor of Peabody Museum).
