You know I think it's great people have decided to change their lifestyle, that's really awesome. And I think if a lifestyle change is something that really speaks to you personally, that's amazing. Hey, so you want to be different, alright! That you're blossoming into something of your own design, that's fabulous. So you didn't like the old you, and made plans to change that, super! But that's your decision. You want to live like that. That can't be taken away. What you choose, that's your right. Live life on your terms, isn't that what it's all about. And that's cool. We all try to deal with the hand we're dealt, and one way or another, we manage. Sometimes it's an uphill battle, other times, it's not too bad, and other times, seems like things are going just fine. Everyone has their good days, and their bad days.
Thing is, pretty much everyone is experiencing the same things, maybe not in the same order, but more or less. Yeah sure, how many of us have thought, if things were different, we'd be better off, and if this and that hadn't happened, life probably would be just easier.
C'est la vie. Life is life.
Like any relationship, it requires work, hard work and sometimes, that ain't enough. People fight on though, don't they. Keep their heads up. Roll with the punches.
Now can you imagine, millions of mothers banding together, voicing their right to be treated with more respect, that all of them should be given something extra because they're the ones giving birth and that somebody else should take responsibility for their security and well being?
Or maybe fathers from around the world should band together, have parenthood awareness month, voice their displeasure of being used for their semen, and that men should be able to get government support for the things they want to do.
Maybe the billions of children that populate the globe, should have their day in the sun too. Childrens appreciation month. More playgrounds to be erected, demanding better education, have their own flag, banners set up, WE WON'T BE VIOLATED, flying in the wind.
In all fairness, everyone is entitled. Everybody. Everyone has their god given right to do what they want, to make their lives better, and more fulfilling.
What makes anybody better than anybody else. Why do some feel they're more privileged. How is it your change of lifestyle entitles you to a special pass. What about those who have nothing. Now that's just down right greedy.
And as the good book says:
Gimme gimme never gets.
Don't you know your manners yet.
