Elizabethton Parks and Recreation is SO excited to announce that the Franklin Pool will re-open for guests on Saturday, May 23, 2026.The Franklin Pool is located at 1600 Franklin Club Drive, between Sycamore Shoals State Park and Sycamore Shoals Hospital, and features a Splash Pad alongside an Olympic-sized swimming pool, newly renovated with a walk-in entrance and heaters.
To mark the re-opening of the pool, the Parks and Recreation department will be throwing a “Grand Reopening” pool party on Saturday, May 23, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, featuring free
admission for all, free inflatables, and a DJ playing music all day long.
