Le projet de Greta Kline, Frankie Cosmos, est une exploration poétique de la pop indie intime et sincère. Depuis ses débuts dans les années 2010, Kline a su capturer l’essence de la mélancolie contemporaine avec des paroles ciselées et des arrangements minimalistes, entre rock lo-fi et influences DIY. Son sixième album, Different Talking, marque un tournant, porté par une approche plus introspective et une production plus riche. Enregistré en autoproduction en Upstate New York avec un nouveau quatuor, l'album mélange rock indie, touches de synthé et influences country.
Des morceaux comme Vanity explorent la fragilité humaine et l’évolution personnelle, avec une maturité nouvelle et une liberté créative totale. Different Talking est un voyage à la fois intime et expansif, offrant des chansons vibrantes, pleines de sincérité et de douceur.

Frankie Cosmos is het project van Greta Kline: een poëtische verkenning van intieme, oprechte indiepop. Sinds haar debuut in de jaren 2010 heeft Kline de essentie van hedendaagse melancholie vastgelegd met gebeitelde teksten en minimalistische arrangementen, ergens tussen lo-fi rock en DIY-invloeden in. Met zesde album ‘Different Talking’ markeert de band een keerpunt, met een meer introspectieve aanpak en rijkere productie.
Opgenomen en door zelfgeproduceerd onder begeleiding van een nieuw kwartet, mengt het album indierock, vleugjes synth en countryinvloeden. Tracks als ‘Vanity’ verkennen de menselijke kwetsbaarheid en persoonlijke evolutie, met een nieuwe volwassenheid en totale creatieve vrijheid. ‘Different Talking’ is een reis die zowel intiem als uitgebreid is, met levendige songs vol oprechtheid en zachtheid.
