Please join the Newcastle Guitar Orchestra in the wonderful setting of Seventeen Nineteen for an evening of beautiful Renaissance and Baroque music to celebrate the life of one of our dearest members, Frank McCoy.Music by:

The programme will start with consort music from the time of Queen Elizabeth, including well-loved pieces by John Dowland to celebrate the 400th anniversary of his death.
Stuart H WIllis will be our guest soloist of the Lute concerto in C minor by Johann Sigismund Weiss, specially arranged for Lute and guitar orchestra for this performance.
We will also play the wonderful Concerto for Two Mandolins by Antonio Vivaldi with soloists Thomas Hunter and Cham Wa Chan, and the Italian Concerto by J.S. Bach.
ADMISSION FREE
There will be a retiring collection in aid of the QEH Haematology Fund.
Doors open at 7pm, when there will be an opportunity to purchase pre-concert drinks. The concert will last about one hour with no interval. Please feel free to join us for drinks afterwards.
