About this Event
Come and celebrate Francophonie Month with the Alliance Française Wellington, as we host a special illustrated talk by art historian David Maskill on a fascinating and little-known chapter of French cultural history. Discover how the Louvre was once a vibrant living and working space for generations of artists and craftsmen, long before it became the world’s most visited museum. The talk will be followed by a Q&A session primarily in French, offering a great opportunity to engage further and celebrate the French language. Questions are also welcome in English!
