FRAMEWORKS: Interrogating Architectures of STS - a York University STS Graduate Conference

The York U STS GSA is excited to invite you to our annual Graduate Student Conference on the theme of Frameworks: interrogating architectures of STS!
This theme invites critical and productive engagements on the state of the field of STS with a focus on the methodologies, theories, and epistemologies that structure STS. These structures may be upheld, reproduced, contested, or complicated in the work of STS scholars across various disciplines. Variations on this theme will be explored throughout the day with 4 student panels and 1 faculty panel/roundtable session, alongside a poster session, and wrapped up with a socializing & networking event on the York University Campus.
Though this conference highlights the research of emerging scholars in graduate STS and STS affiliated fields, we encourage and welcome undergraduate and postdoc researchers as well as seasoned pros and faculty to join us as we explore the many ways to order (and disorder) STS frameworks.
