About this Event

What can I gain from attending?

The day will address key concepts around the issue of frailty, including latest research and its application to practice, key components of care, a personalised care approach, Advance Care Planning, early involvement of palliative care – especially around wellbeing, hospital avoidance and appropriate acute care. The teaching will be delivered by academics and leading practitioners in the field from across the Multidisciplinary team.

Who can attend?

Anyone working predominantly with frail individuals from a health or social care background. It will be assumed that you have a basic knowledge of what frailty is as a medical condition. There will be an emphasis of focus around palliative care and it’s benefits to frail individuals approaching the last years of life.
