There’s no cost, the event is a gift from Our Lady of Angels to parishioners and the local community, although donations will be accepted and will go to Homeboy Industries.
With Homeboy Industries as a backdrop, this talk will explore the power of love to transform the disunity that currently keeps us from each other. Loving is our home and knowing that, is never to be homesick again. At a time when society is more fractured than ever before, beloved Jesuit priest, Greg Boyle invites us to see the world through a new lens of connection and to build the loving community that we long to live in.
Fr. Greg Boyle is a sought-after speaker celebrated for his work, impact and inspiration. He’s received countless awards and accolades, including The 2024 Presidential Medal of Freedom, the United States’ highest civilian honor. He is the author of the 2010 New York Times-bestseller Tattoos on the Heart: The Power of Boundless Compassion. Followed by Barking to the Choir: The Power of Radical Kinship (2017) and The Whole Language: The Power of Extravagant Tenderness (2021).
