In the Future of Privacy Forum’s training on Building a Responsible AI Program, participants will learn about the most used frameworks for AI governance and appropriate governance intervention points in the AI development lifecycle. From the basics of how to add AI governance to existing data governance structures to scaling AI transparency & accountability assessments, this course will provide you with the knowledge to build and scale a program to meet existing and upcoming regulatory requirements.

- The current state of Responsible & Trustworthy AI Frameworks and how to choose what’s best for your company.
- How to approach the key RAI components: fairness, transparency, privacy, safety & security, accountability.
- Where the best assessment and intervention points are in the machine learning and AI lifecycle.
- From piloting to scaling implementation, how to assess the effectiveness of a Responsible AI Program.
- Successful approaches to company & employee RAI training.
This training will be a live virtual session.
Upon completing the training, participants will receive IAPP CPE Credits and a digital badge from our partner, Credly, recognizing your newfound knowledge and demonstrating your commitment to staying at the forefront of privacy developments.

Julian Flamant, Principal, Data Protection Counsel
Julian is an experienced privacy, security, and AI attorney who provides strategic advising and compliance management services as principal of Data Protection Counsel PLLC. Julian previously was a senior associate in the Privacy and Cybersecurity group at Hogan Lovells and was one of the first policy fellows at the Future of Privacy Forum. Julian’s law practice covers a broad range of data protection issues in the U.S. and internationally. He works with clients to develop practical solutions for addressing reputational, legal, and business risks.
