Thaw the Cold Cases – Cold Case Awareness Walk April 18, 2026 @ 12:30 PM Tarrant County Courthouse – 100 Weatherford Street, Fort Worth, TX.Join us for a peaceful and powerful gathering as we come together to honor our loved ones and keep their names alive as all cold cases matter. We will meet at the courthouse where families will have the opportunity to share memories and tell the story of their loved one. Following the speakers, we will walk one mile to the Haws Athletic Center displaying a banner listing many of the unsolved cold cases that deserve attention and also carrying Flyers. Once we arrive at the Haws Athletic Center located at 600 Congress Street, pizza will be provided and seating will be available.
A lawn chair is not necessary but feel free to bring one for the courthouse gathering prior to going to the Haws Athletic Center.
Parking is available across from the courthouse for a fee. For those who prefer not to walk, you are welcome to park at the courthouse and then drive to the Haws Athletic Center, where free parking is available.
In the event of rain, we will go directly to the Haws Athletic Center, which will be open to us from 1 PM to 5 PM.
Please bring a framed picture of your loved one for our display table.
News Media is expected to be attending.
This event is open to everyone. Whether you have a personal connection to a cold case or simply want to show support, your presence matters. Together, we can keep these names in the public eye and bring hope for new leads.
