For starters instead of just Lindy Hop 1 & 2 we’re expanding the program to include FOUR levels of Lindy Hop classes! 9:30-12 Social Dancing
Lindy Hop 1 (Intro to Swing):This is our beginner swing dance series. You don't need to know any dancing to join. It’s open to dancers of all levels, including those with 2 left feet!
Lindy Hop 2: You’re feeling solid on finding your beat in swing music, and your swingouts, 6 count shapes, and charleston are getting fun to dance with.
Lindy Hop 3: (teacher approval needed) You’re having a lot of fun taking the classic shapes and playing with them in the music, and you’re ready to up your game. Fast or slow, speed is getting to be a lot easier for you, and you’re having fun collecting both partnered and solo variations to create with.
Lindy Hop 4: (teacher approval needed) You’re finding your voice as an artist in your lindy hop and you’re excited to get nerdy with it. You usually pick up how to do moves pretty easily, and now you want to get into the “why” of it so your improv feels just as good as the classic vocab.
