Speed Freekz is the working title for all Paint Club ‘speed’ painting challenges. Our intent is for each challenge to be a heap of fun but will push out creative and technical skills in new and interesting ways.

THE DETAILS:
Location: Area 52, 88 Elizabeth Street
Arrival: 10:30am
Brushed up: 11:00am
Lunch: 1-1:30pm
Brushes down: 3:30pm
Loo break then voting by 4pm
FORMAT:
Infantry sized figures recommended. (think Space Marines or smaller)
Warhammer Mini-of-the-Month suggested*
Primed any single colour.
No Zenithal priming or pre-painting of any kind.
Basing encouraged but not required.

WINNERS:
BEST PAINTED & MOST CREATIVE
Community voted. Most votes wins.
Each participant gets two votes, one per category.
In the event of a draw…we’ll figure it out on the fly.
Best Painted = whichever figure you deem FANCIEST. Must be fully painted.
Ie: no obviously unpainted areas and key details called out to a good degree.
Most Creative = whichever figure you think presents the most creative idea, colours or execution. Does NOT need to be fully painted.

Warhammer Hobart wants your minis! M.O.T.M minis painted at this event can be displayed in-store. If we get enough minis displayed, we might get our own shelf!

Paint club exists to encourage our community to enjoy and develop the painting element of our respective hobbies. All skill levels, any style of miniature and any person is welcome to participate in our events. We will not tolerate disrespectful behaviour or commentary. This is a safe space.
