About this Event
Your ghost hunt at the Four Crosses Inn will see you exploring many spooky areas of the building such as the attic, coaching inn bedrooms, former bar areas, and even a dark cellar! Dating back to the 17th century, The Four Crosses Inn has had countless reports of paranormal activity witnessed. Spirits that are said to roam at the Four Crosses include a Roundhead soldier, also a broken-hearted damsel called Emily who has often been spotted crying in the ladies’ toilets.
Your Ghost Hunting Experience at the Four Crosses does not need to end at 02:30am! After your ghost hunt and at NO EXTRA COST you are invited to spend the night within the haunted rooms; bedding is not provided so you will need to bring sleeping bags with you – and check out will then be anytime up to 9am the following morning. You do not need to book this and you can decide on the night itself if you want to stay over, or head on home after your ghost hunt.
On a ghost hunt with Haunted Houses you will have exclusive access to the building/location during the evening. You will learn all about ghost hunting and the techniques used to encourage paranormal activity. We have a whole host of scientific ghost hunt equipment for you to use to aid communication with the spirits. You can take part in Ouija boards, glass divination and table tipping; the more traditional ghost hunt techniques. Or simply sitting in the dark and asking for the spirits to interact with you. Also offered are Lone vigils (ghost hunting alone) which can be conducted. During your evening you will be split into smaller groups so you can get the most out of your experience. If you are new to ghost hunting we warn you now – by the end of the night you may just become addicted to the fascinating and intriguing world of ghost hunting.
This is a real ghost hunt experience, there is no fakery, plus no tricks or actors jumping out at you. What are you waiting for? Book your places today as tickets sell out fast for this location!
Haunted Houses look forward to welcoming you at this amazing building and sharing a night that you will not forget.
Ghosts
Over the years many sightings of spirits and ghost have been reported at the Four Crosses. Will you encounter the dark male figure said to lurk in the shadows, or perhaps you will be joined by one of the many spirit children seen across the whole site – A sorry story tells of a recent death of a child during the 1980’s, You may notice that the building is built right by the roadside, and it is due to this that one day an excited child ran out of the door and straight into the path of an oncoming vehicle. It is said that this poor soul to this day is seen playing hide and seek within the building and of course, outside the window too …
Babies were not let off from an early demise at this location either – one heart wrenching tale tells of an infant being left upon a table in the 1800’s, only to roll off onto the floor and meet an untimely end whilst his – or her, parents were preoccupied. Is the emotion from this tragic scene still trapped in the fabric of the building, resonating through time like an echo?
Suicides here have been reported – what tragedy could of these poor souls encountered to commit the ultimate act to free yourself from such torment. Can we make loving communication to try and understand what they were going through?
One Story that has been in the local media about the Four Crosses is that of the Black Eyed Children, witnessed to roam Cannock Chase and to also visit this former Inn. The Chase has been home to many legends over the years, such as witchcraft, UFO sightings, Slender men, and dark specters in the shape of giant black dogs with glowing red eyes.
