Fountain City Town Hall is joining TWRA and HawgMolly Fishing in celebration of the State of TN Bobby Wilson FREE Fishing Day at the Fountain City Lake on Saturday, June 6th! HawgMolly Fishing will sponsor a fishing tournament with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes! Registration opens at 8:00am. Tournament begins at 8:30am and ends at 12:00pm. Winners are announced at 12:30pm and must be present. Visit Fountain City Town Hall website or Facebook for more information at www.fountaincitytownhall.org. No registration is required.
On Bobby Wilson Free Fishing Day June 6th, 2026 all state residents and visitors of any age may fish for free without a license in Tennessee's public waters. Additionally, youth ages 15 or younger may fish for free the entire week, beginning on Free Fishing Day (June 6) and continuing through the following Friday, June 12.
