Founder Funding Groups - Liverpool - March 2026 - Round Table

Founder Funding Group Liverpool is back in March with a founder focused session exploring the different Types of Funding available to early-stage, startups and scale up business. The session is designed for founders who are either actively fundraising, or who are planning to launch a funding round within the next six months. Founder Funding Group Liverpool is kindly supported by Barclays Eagle Labs.

The sessions will be facilitated by Rupert Wingate-Saul from AXM Venture Capital and will be joined by experienced mentors who have successfully raised investment along with other investors.

About the session

Securing the right kind of funding can be overwhelming, with so many options, terms, and strategies to navigate. This roundtable session is designed to cut through the complexity and help founders explore the full range of funding types from grants and SEIS to equity and debt.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Understand the funding landscape and what suits different growth stages
• Hear from experts and investors on what they look for and how to approach them
• Connect with fellow founders on similar fundraising journeys
• Ask questions in a supportive and collaborative environment

The criteria to attend the event is:

• Be part of a founding team of an early-stage, startups and scale up business

• Be actively involved in the company’s fundraising process

• Be actively raising £250,000 - £5m as either grant, debt or equity, or be planning to raise starting within the next 6 months

There will be a lunchtime buffet from 12 noon. The main session will run from 12:00pm - 2:30pm
