About this Event

A 3-week immersion in practice, philosophy, and embodied understanding


Foundations of Yoga is a small-group immersion designed for students who want to understand yoga postures and more, while continuing to refine and enjoy physical practice.


This program weaves together:

  • classical yoga philosophy
  • breath and meditation
  • steady, accessible asana (yoga poses)
  • weekly Sunday Satsang

Whether you are newer to yoga or have practiced for years without formal study, this container offers a grounded entry into yoga as a living system, not just a class you attend.


The emphasis is on continuity, relationship, and integration.

  • students who value consistency and depth
  • long-time practitioners curious about philosophy and yogic context
  • those wanting a steadier relationship to the practice
  • students open to reflection, inquiry, and shared learning

No prior knowledge of yoga philosophy is required.


Program Structure

Dates: April 12th - May 3rd 2026


A three-week immersion into embodied practice, breath, and living yogic wisdom.


Weekday Sessions
A mix of Sivananda Hatha Yoga, Bliss Hatha, Dharma Hatha Yoga, Slow Bliss Vinyasa, Lunar Bliss + Sound and Meditation. Each class emphasizes breath, alignment, and inner attention. Class timings will range from 30 minutes - 90 minutes.


Sunday Satsang (10:00–11:30am)
Sunday Sadhana forms the heart of the program. A time to practice deep reflection and integration of living the philosophy for peace of mind.


Longer sessions devoted to:

  • meditation
  • pranayama
  • yogic inquiry and discussion
  • devotional and dharmic practices (satsang, kirtan, reflection)


Program Schedule Overview

  • Week 1: Introduction, What Is Yoga, Breath Foundations
  • Week 2: Steady Practice + Lunar Integration
  • Week 3: Practice, Dharma, and Inquiry
  • Week 4: Integration and Closing Cacao Circle

Each week includes:

  • A steady classical asana practice (Sivananda + Hatha)
  • Gentle vinyasa and lunar practices for nervous system regulation
  • Breathwork and meditation
  • Weekly Sunday Satsang gatherings exploring philosophy, dharma, and lived inquiry

Sunday, April 12th, 10am-11:30am - Orientation and Introduction to Yoga Holistically

Monday, April 13th, 6pm-7:15pm - Sivananda Hatha Yoga + 7:30pm-8pm - Meditation

Tuesday, April 14th, 6pm-7:15pm - Bliss Hatha Yoga


Week 2:

Sunday, April 19th, 10am-11:30am - Sunday Satsang

Monday, April 20th, 6pm-7:15pm - Sivananda Hatha Yoga + 7:30pm-8pm - Meditation

Wednesday, April 22nd, 7:20-8:20pm - Lunar Bliss + Sound


Week 3:

Sunday, April 26th, 10am-11:30am - Sunday Satsang + Dharma Yoga Practice

Monday, April 27th, 6pm-7:15pm - Sivananda Hatha Yoga + 7:30pm-8pm - Meditation

Thursday, April 30th, 7am-8:15am - Slow Bliss Vinyasa


Closing day:

Sunday, May 3rd

10am-11:30am - Sunday Satsang + Dharma Yoga Practice

12:30pm-3pm - Cacao Circle Ceremony

What’s Included


This 3-week immersive container includes:

• 12 in-person sessions across movement, meditation, mantra, and philosophy
• Progressive instruction in Hatha, Vinyasa, Dharma-inspired practice, and

restorative sound
• Small group setting (capped at 12 students) for personalized support
• Sunday Satsang discussions to explore yoga beyond the physical practice
• A 5–10 page mantra & philosophy companion booklet
• Ray of Bliss practice journal
• A 2.5-hour Closing Cacao Ceremony (included in tuition, valued at $55)
• $100 credit toward a future India immersion upon completion


Important Notes

  • This program is offered as a continuous series; individual drop-ins are not available unless participating in the Sunday Sangha program.
  • Space is intentionally limited to support intimacy and group cohesion.
  • Registration closes once the group is full.
