A 3-week immersion in practice, philosophy, and embodied understanding
Foundations of Yoga is a small-group immersion designed for students who want to understand yoga postures and more, while continuing to refine and enjoy physical practice.
This program weaves together:
- classical yoga philosophy
- breath and meditation
- steady, accessible asana (yoga poses)
- weekly Sunday Satsang
Whether you are newer to yoga or have practiced for years without formal study, this container offers a grounded entry into yoga as a living system, not just a class you attend.
The emphasis is on continuity, relationship, and integration.

No prior knowledge of yoga philosophy is required.
Program Structure
Dates: April 12th - May 3rd 2026
A three-week immersion into embodied practice, breath, and living yogic wisdom.
Weekday Sessions
A mix of Sivananda Hatha Yoga, Bliss Hatha, Dharma Hatha Yoga, Slow Bliss Vinyasa, Lunar Bliss + Sound and Meditation. Each class emphasizes breath, alignment, and inner attention. Class timings will range from 30 minutes - 90 minutes.
Sunday Satsang (10:00–11:30am)
Sunday Sadhana forms the heart of the program. A time to practice deep reflection and integration of living the philosophy for peace of mind.
Longer sessions devoted to:
- meditation
- pranayama
- yogic inquiry and discussion
- devotional and dharmic practices (satsang, kirtan, reflection)

- A steady classical asana practice (Sivananda + Hatha)
- Gentle vinyasa and lunar practices for nervous system regulation
- Breathwork and meditation
- Weekly Sunday Satsang gatherings exploring philosophy, dharma, and lived inquiry

What’s Included
This 3-week immersive container includes:
• 12 in-person sessions across movement, meditation, mantra, and philosophy
• Progressive instruction in Hatha, Vinyasa, Dharma-inspired practice, and
restorative sound
• Small group setting (capped at 12 students) for personalized support
• Sunday Satsang discussions to explore yoga beyond the physical practice
• A 5–10 page mantra & philosophy companion booklet
• Ray of Bliss reflection journal
• A 2.5-hour Closing Cacao Ceremony (included in tuition, valued at $55)
Upon completion each yoga aspirant will receive:
• $100 credit toward a future India immersion
• Yoga Integration 3-class package to sustain your practice post the program course
• Preferred pricing on class packs after completion
Important Notes
- This program is offered as a continuous series; individual drop-ins are not available unless participating in the Sunday Sangha program.
- Space is intentionally limited to support intimacy and group cohesion.
- Registration closes once the group is full.
