About this Event
Foundations of Tribal Sovereignty & American Indian Identity will help educators to better understand the systemic and historical context of American Indian identity, connecting to the topic of tribal sovereignty.
This workshop will provide in-depth learning about the complexities of tribal sovereignty and the present-day impacts that has for American Indian students in our learning spaces. This workshop is complementary to our other offerings which will continue the work of building inclusive classroom spaces to welcome and support American Indian students throughout their educational journey. Join us to learn more about the systemic issues surrounding the foundations of tribal sovereignty and American Indian identity as we work to build more inclusive learning environments.
