This 3-day foundational training offers a hands-on, experiential gateway into the world of sound healing. Whether you're completely new or looking to deepen your connection with the gong, this immersive course will guide you through the essential tools, techniques, and energetics of sound-based therapeutic work.

You’ll learn how to work with gongs, singing bowls, and percussion instruments in a conscious, intuitive way, supporting others (and yourself) through grounding, vibrational restoration, and energetic alignment.

By the end of the training, you’ll feel confident in delivering a short, structured sound bath in a safe and intentional way.

No prior experience is required — only a willingness to explore and receive.

·       The history, and sacred significance of gongs

·       How sound influences brainwaves, the nervous system, and subtle energy field

·       Gong anatomy: types, zones, stands, mallets, and safe setup

·       Crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, how and when to use them

·       Rhythm, silence, layering, and intuitive flow

·       Percussion for grounding, activation, and energetic clearing

·       Ethical space-holding, energetic boundaries, and trauma-awareness

·       How to structure and deliver a group sound journey

·       Grounding and energetic self-care practices for sound facilitators

·       Welcome circle, intentions and energetic arrival

·       Overview of Gong Space approach & sound healing pathway

·       Introduction to the history and spiritual roots of the gong

·       Understanding how sound supports healing and transformation

·       Receiving a full guided sound bath as participant

·       Discussion and personal reflection

·       Overview of gong types, tools, setup and care

·       Foundational techniques: how to hold the mallet, strike zones, posture

·       Exploring different gong sounds and dynamics in a safe space

·       Pair work with feedback to build confidence

·       Daily closing circle

·       Morning grounding and check-in

·       Introduction to the chakra system and energetic field

·       Using sound to shift, clear and rebalance energy centres

·       Crystal and Himalayan singing bowls: tonal quality, chakra correspondence

·       Live demo followed by hands-on bowl practice

·       Integrating bowls with gong playing and intuitive transitions

·       Learning the flow of energy in a sound journey: rise, peak, rest

·       Solo and partner playing sessions with facilitator feedback

·       Exploring intuitive playing and building your own connection to sound

·       Reflections and integration

·       Morning Q&A and intention-setting

·       Introduction to percussion instruments: rattles, shakers, rainsticks, drums

·       Using rhythm for grounding, clearing, and activating energy

·       Group and paired percussion practice

·       How to structure a complete sound journey (welcome, flow, return)

·       Sequencing instruments and transitions with care

·       Design and plan your own sound journey

·       Final delivery of your sound journey to the group (with supportive feedback)

·       Closing circle, reflections, next steps and certification presentation

·       Use of all gongs, bowls, and percussion instruments during training

This Level 1 training opens the door to two specialist tracks:

·       Level 2A: Group Sound Journey Practitioner - Learn how to hold powerful, heart-led public sound baths and events.

·       Level 2B: Sound Healing for 1:1 Practice - Learn how to work therapeutically in personalised 1:1 sessions using advanced techniques.
