Yes In God’s Backyard (YIGBY) is a growing national movement for faith communities of all shapes and sizes to utilize unique gifts your neighborhood institutions have to contribute to the housing needs of our community. With growing interest from several Delaware County Congregations, the Delaware County Housing Alliance invites our local faith community to attend Foundations in Faith: A YIGBY Event to learn more. The event will offer education and resources for faith communities, feedback opportunities from our neighbors, and policy making resources for our elected officials. We hope to see you there!

Delaware County Housing Alliance will host experts in the field to discuss policy and funding in a fireside chat with the region’s foremost experts on the Yes In God’s Backyard movement. Join us to learn more about pathways to more housing options for our neighbors with a mission driven focus from regional experts and share your thoughts for the best way to enable our neighbors to find safe places to live that they can afford:
3:30 – 4:15 PM – Fireside Chat with local and regional housing experts
4:15 – 6:30 PM – Open house & community discussion
5:30 – 6:15 PM – Fireside Chat replay
