About this Event

In this workshop you will be weaving onto or around found objects such as slate, wood, tools or found objects to create a woven art sculpture to take home and frame. You will have the option of weaving different woven structures onto your chosen object and play with a varied choice of yarns.

David Fox has created a current ongoing series of wrapping onto found woven objects whilst creating his own inspired by a Mill Worker’s tools from Sunny Bank Mills. Come create your own woven and wrapped object. Hear about our relationship to tools/objects whilst you play with yarn and colour, creating your own woven sculpture.
