About this Event
The afternoon begins with traditional Argentine empanadas, beverages, and music in a relaxed social setting. At 4:00 PM, the beginner’s tango class will start.
Participants are also welcome to continue the experience at the Milonga social dance from 6:00–8:00 PM, organized by Arlene Dávila, NYU Professor and Founding Director of the Latinx Project, with continued instruction by María José. A separate registration is required for the milonga, though it is also free and open to the public. You can RSVP here.
