About this Event

Are you passionate about advancing civic education in your faith-based school? We're excited to announce that applications for Civic Spirit's Educators Cohort are now open until May 6th, and we're offering a $1000 stipend for participants.

The Educators Cohort is a prestigious 2-day workshop, July 30th and 31st, followed by a 10-month fellowship designed for educators like you who are dedicated to enhancing their expertise in civic education and introducing innovative approaches to their classrooms. Through a blend of immersive learning experiences, personalized coaching, and a culminating capstone project, this program offers comprehensive support and a network of like-minded colleagues.

Here's what the fellowship includes:
- Summer Institute: Kick off the program with an in-person Summer Institute, on July 30th and 31st, held at the Colorado History Museum in Denver.
- Ongoing Learning Gatherings: Engage in virtual and in-person sessions throughout the school year covering foundational texts, effective pedagogy, civil dialogue, and strategies for implementing new tools in your teaching.
- Pedagogical Coaching: Benefit from six coaching sessions with Civic Spirit's education experts to support your professional growth.
- Civic Spirit Project: Develop and execute a Civic Spirit Project tailored to your school's mission and curriculum, fostering civic learning within your school community.
