Join Reanna Boudrow and our group of fossil experts for a fun and educational session. In February, we will focus on Heart-shaped fossils and how that distinctive shape can help distinguish between similar-looking items. Recognizing the shapes of fossils can help you to identify them and tell apart look-alikes. The most famous heart-shaped fossil is the Hubbel Megalodon. Come to our session to learn all about what Hubbel Megs are, how to distinguish them from other megs and where you are most likely to find them (and other interesting fossils) on the Island.
This will be a hands-on activity with Reanna providing teeth to ID, but you are also welcome to bring in your own fossils, particularly any heart shaped ones. We will help you make identifications and will provide an official ID card for your favorite item.
Session free, donation appreciated! Register here: https://www.simpletix.com/e/fossil-hearts-with-reanna-boudrow-tickets-237261
