About the film: “We will resist and fight until this is over, but we will not surrender,” declare the inhabitants of the Caribbean island, affected by the national emergency decree issued by US President Donald Trump, which allows him to impose extraordinary tariffs on countries that send oil and its derivatives to Cuba.
This measure, “has awakened a tremendous will to live and to defend life in community and to defend the collective good,” declares Llanisca Lugo, an intellectual, psychologist, and member of the National Assembly of People's Power.
"Cuba: A people in resistance" looks at how the Cuban people continue to resist.
