Join us for our spooktacular ghost hunt and sleep over at Fort Widley near Portsmouth. Fort Widley has a reputation for being one of the most haunted forts in the UK, and were spending the entire night there.
Built betweeen 1860 and 1868 on the recommendation of the Royal Commission to defend Portsmouth from attack along with the other Palmerston Forts.
We will be venturing down into the deep dark depths of the haunted tunnels and chambers of the fort. There have been many reports of spooky goings on over the years. Disembodied voices of soldiers and cannon fire have also been heard in the tunnels. Shadow figures have also been seen by many people along with poltergiest activity that has been experienced there. Don't worry, your in good hands with our highly experienced and hard working team.
Beginning with an energy circle, then during the night you will be taking part in various forms of divination from table tipping, spirit boards, scrying, to our very own favorite, the human pendulum and more. You will also get to use some of the teams ghost hunting equipment to bring your experience alive. For the bravest amonst you, you will get the chance go on a lone vigil, in the dark, blind folded with only a walkie talkie as your safety line. who's brave enough?
As a sleep over, you will have the option to continue ghost hunting with the team who will remain with you all night, or find a place to sleep in the hub. Alternatively, at a small additional cost you can either book a tent pitch or a place for your camper/caravan. Tickets for this event are only £39.00 per person.
Tea/coffee and biscuits will be available throught the night, you can also bring your own refreshments and snacks.
Please wear warm clothing, sensible footwear and bring your own torch.
Anybody found to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be told to leave and no refunds will be issued.
