Get ready for one of Fort Collins’ most fun and impactful community events, the 3rd Annual Rotary Duck Race, splashing into the Fort Collins City Park Pool Lazy River on Saturday, August 29, 2026!Presented by Fort Collins Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram and hosted by the Fort Collins Foothills & Downtown Rotary Clubs, this unique fundraiser brings the community together to support local nonprofits in a big way.
In 2025 alone, the event raised over $67,000 for 51 organizations, with more than 3,100 ducks adopted.
Here’s how it works:
Community members “adopt” rubber ducks on behalf of their favorite charities, each $25 adoption sends $20 directly to the nonprofit you choose.
Want better odds? Grab a Quack Pack (buy 5 ducks, get 1 free) and increase your chances to win while still supporting a great cause.
Participating organizations keep 80% of the funds they raise, making this a powerful and accessible fundraising opportunity.
On race day, thousands of rubber ducks will take to the Lazy River in a series of exciting heats, with the fastest ducks advancing to the championship round. The top finishers in the final race will swim away with cash prizes, but the real winners are the local charities making a difference in our community.
Whether you're adopting ducks, cheering from the sidelines, or representing a nonprofit, the Rotary Duck Race is a can’t-miss event full of fun, friendly competition, and meaningful impact!
