Event Overview:
Plants from peoples' gardens may look pretty, but they invade natural spaces, choking out some beautiful native trees. Help the Muslim Students Association and Nature at McMaster to plant other species in the area, providing food and shelter for native wildlife!
To be Planted:
- Round leaved dogwood
- American black currant
- Blue-stemmed goldenrods
- Large-leaved aster
Event Details:
- Date: Sunday, October 5th
- Time: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
- Location: Meet at the Bertrand Russel Archives (88 Forsyth Ave N, Hamilton, ON L8S 4E4)
Bring/Wear:
- Comfortable, closed-toe, durable shoes (mud proof if you have any)
- Long pants and long socks
- Ensure you wear clothing and shoes that you will not mind getting dirty
- Water bottles
- Sunscreen/Hat/Sunglasses
- Bug spray
